Foobar installation​

Foobar official website installation​

  1. Download the latest version of Foobar2000 Download
    Install, just go Next

  2. Download Foobar2000 ASIO plug-in Download

  3. Download Foobar2000 ASIO + DSD Plugin Download
    Install the plug-in after decompression

  4. Download Foobar2000 WSAPI plugin Download

  5. Download the SACD decoding plug-in to support DSD Download
    Install the plug-in after decompression

  6. Plugin installation Foobar2000 Menu -> Library -> Configure As shown in the figure below, select Install..., then select the corresponding plug-in directory and install the corresponding plug-in as shown in the figure below.

Apply, after restarting Foobar, you can play DSD songs.

Foobar beautification Chinese version installation​

This is the easiest way I think, because it integrates basically all the commonly used plugins.

Installation of USB driver​

Windows 10 1703 and after this version can actually be installed without installing the driver; If you need to use ASIO driver and DSD Native to play music, please参考本文Install the USB driver.

Play DSD over USB using Foobar​

Install the plug-in required for playing DSD as mentioned above, and then you can set it up to let Foobar support playing DSD over USB

First set the DSD source code output, and do not transcoding from DSD to PCM

Note that WSAPI only supports DSD playback in DoP, so it will be one level lower than the specifications supported by Native. However, the advantage is that the system will not need to install a USB driver in the future.
