What versions of HiBy Music are there on Android?​

  • HiBy's Android player is installed using the Professional version

Why does HiBy Music need permission to read the file system?​

    1. Why does HiBy Music require file-level permissions?
  • The media manager that comes with Android system generally only manages popular music files such as MP3 and FLAC, and audio files such as dsf, dsd, iso, and cue will not be recognized. Therefore, in order to support these formats, file-level read and write permissions are required.
    1. Why do all file permissions pop up? (2023.4.7, subsequent mobile phone updates may be refined)
  • This is mainly because the system does not provide more segmented permissions to us developers, so we can only use such permissions. Otherwise, customers will basically not be able to use HiBy Music normally.
  • The window prompts before applying for permission will be optimized in the future. Let’s explain how to eliminate the user’s doubts.

How to use HiBy Music Streaming Service? (2023.6.9)​

HiBy Music cannot scan the file?​

  • Android 12 system does not allow different application software to scan files from each other. (For example: the file of the QQ Music private directory cannot be scanned on the HiBy Music APP)

How to confirm that HiBy Music enters exclusive mode?​

  • Seabei Music Sidebar Enter Settings -》 Seabei Music Exclusive USB Output is turned on;
  • When inserting the USB decoder and the little tail, there will be pop-up window prompts for authorization;
  • Enter the playback interface when playing music -》 Click the sampling rate in the middle | bit depth | baud rate -》 Pop-up output information -》 The device in it is consistent with your USB decoder;

What is the reason why the sampling rate remains unchanged when outputting from HiBy Music exclusive mode?​

  • Ensure to enter Seashell Music Exclusive Mode;
  • Make sure the HiBy Music sidebar enters settings -》 Fixed sampling rate output -》 No options are selected;
  • HiBy Music Sidebar -》 Plugin, if there is an open plug-in, try to remove it;

When HiBy Music exclusive mode outputs, DoP output DSD is abnormal. What is the reason?​
